That hardly affects the set enough to ruin it. which is frustrating, since they're both one-sided and therefore don't actually need a label do distinguish which side is which. Though the vinyl is beautiful to look at and the decepticon LP has a lovely clear marbled swirl that refreshingly isn't gloated about on the hype sticker, large record labels blot out the etching when held out against a light. The logo etchings on both LPs are done cleanly and look brilliantly when held up to a light source. The movie also features other well known songs including Instruments of Destruction by NRG, Stan Bushs song Dare, two songs by Spectre General, Nothins. The music was cut like a glove fits a hand zero distortion, no hot recording, flawlessly mixed and deep, loud grooves to boot. The quality of the sleeve in itself makes it a tactile experience to hold and the richly detailed artwork, raised printing and matted texture make it feel painted and varnished. ![]() This is the best record set I've ever purchased. Instruments of Destruction is the first song is played during The Transformers: The Movie where the Decepticons led by Megatron boards the Autobot shuttle. This is by no means a reissue, but a reinvention. ![]()
